Kevin and Nick Jonas Go Golfing For a Good Cause

Enjoying a round for a good cause, brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas hit the links at Grande Oaks Golf Club in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Monday afternoon (February 27).

The former Disney heartthrobs looked dapper in their gear as they took to the green for the 2012 Jason Taylor Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic.

Kevin and Nick took a break from swinging clubs to pose for a few pictures with fans before getting in a little horseplay with Taylor, the host of the charity event.

After wrapping up his game, Nick tweeted about his busy day, writing, "Had such a great time today playing golf for a good cause! Now hopping on a flight back to NY for the WWHL show tonight! Then I'm on SMASH!"

Academy Awards Fashion Face-Off: Vanessa Hudgens vs. Ashley Tisdale

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale took a break from dancing to Beyonce together to attend Elton John's annual Oscar viewing party in West Hollywood last night.

The good pals may not have snagged any nominations or even an invite to the main ceremony, but they were still part of a memorable evening, watching Billy Crystal MC the three-hour event alongside a host of other stars that included Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus.

And, of course, the former High School Musical colleagues got all dolled up for the occasion. Compare their red carpet looks below and vote on the best.

Selena Gomez Clarifies New Tattoo

Our bad, Selena Gomez.

Along with almost every other media outlet, we mistakenly identified this singer's new tattoo as a mini heart, even going so far as assuming it was chosen by the 19-year old in honor of boyfriend Justin Bieber.

But Gomez cleared up the misconception last night.

Selena Gomez Tattoo

"It's a music note," she told Marc Malkin of E! News. "I was named after a singer and music obviously is a big influence for me. And there's music stuff with my mom that means a lot to me, too."

Fair enough. And far more sensible than permanently marking your body in honor of a boy. Even if that boy is Justin Bieber.

Coldplay, Led Zeppelin Album Covers Featured On New British Stamps

Album art from Pink Floyd, Blur and David Bowie also included.
By James Montgomery

<P>On Thursday (January 7), the U.K.'s Royal Mail unveiled a series of 10 new stamps, honoring the most iconic album covers of the past 40 years. The albums featured in the new series are the <a href="/music/artist/rolling_stones/artist.jhtml">Rolling Stones</a>' <i>Let It Bleed,</i> <a href="/music/artist/led_zeppelin/artist.jhtml">Led Zeppelin</a>'s <i>IV,</i> <a href="/music/artist/bowie_david/artist.jhtml">David Bowie</a>'s <i>The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars,</i> <a href="/music/artist/mike_oldfield/artist.jhtml">Mike Oldfield</a>'s <i>Tubular Bells,</i> <a href="/music/artist/clash/artist.jhtml">The Clash</a>'s <i>London Calling,</i> <a href="/music/artist/new_order/artist.jhtml">New Order</a>'s <i>Power, Corruption and Lies,</i> <a href="/music/artist/primal_scream/artist.jhtml">Primal Scream</a>'s <i>Screamadelica,</i> <a href="/music/artist/pink_floyd/artist.jhtml">Pink Floyd</a>'s <i>The Division Bell,</i> <a href="/music/artist/blur/artist.jhtml">Blur</a>'s <i>Parklife</i> and &#8212; the most recent album on to make the cut &#8212; <a href="/music/artist/coldplay/artist.jhtml">Coldplay</a>'s <i>A Rush of Blood to the Head.</i> Meant to honor "the most potent graphic images of modern times, many of which have provided a visual soundtrack to people's lives," the series is the end result of a lengthy research process by the Royal Mail, who looked through thousands of album covers by British artists before deciding on the final list. And, during a Wednesday night BBC Radio broadcast, it was revealed that the queen herself actually approved each design. Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page &#8212; who helped design the cover for <i>IV</i> &#8212; was on hand to celebrate the release of the stamps and recalled the mysterious nature of the album's iconic imagery. "Almost 40 years after the album came out, nobody knows the old man who featured on the cover, nor the artist who painted him," he said. "That sort of sums up what we wanted to achieve with the album cover, which has remained both anonymous and enigmatic at the same time." Of course, any great honor is befitting of an equally great contest, so, on the same day the stamps were made available to the general public, Coldplay decided to give one of their <i>Rush of Blood</i> stamps away. In a message on their official site, the band held a contest to send one lucky fan "a letter using a Coldplay stamp, postmarked with today's issue date." "We visited our local post office earlier today and bought some of the Coldplay stamps," the message read. "Very nice they are too."</p>

Lady Gaga Opens Italian Restaurant With Her Dad

Joanne Trattoria named in honor of her late aunt.

<P><P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml" target="_blank">Lady Gaga</a> is known for being ostentatious, outrageous and making the biggest entrance possible. But for a star that has made her name for shocking our senses, Mother Monster's newest venture is decidedly low-key. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="id:1669247" width="240" height="211"></div><p> After dropping several mentions in interviews over the past few months about a new restaurant she planned to launch with her father, Joseph Germanotta, Joanne Trattoria will finally open its doors on Wednesday. The modest Italian neighborhood eatery on West 68th Street in New York was described by <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2012/01/25/dining/lady-gagas-parents-to-open-joanne-trattoria.html?_r=2" target="_blank"><I>The New York Times</I></a> as having a "well-stocked bar, a cozy back patio and seating for about 70 people." The walls are covered with scenes of the Tuscan countryside, and near a fireplace at the entrance, diners will see some Germanotta family photos hanging by a front booth. The restaurant will be run by Joseph and Gaga's mother, Cynthia, and her proud pop admitted that his daughter "just generates a lot of sizzle," helping to get the word out about the venture. The chef and partner in the business is Art Smith, who met Gaga at a taping for the "Oprah Winfrey Show." Smith was Winfrey's personal chef for several years. The name was inspired by Joseph's late sister, Joanne, who died of lupus at age 19. Not only is "Joanne" Gaga's middle name, but in a number of interviews the singer has <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2011/10/31/lady-gaga-dad-joseph-restaurant-joanne/" target="_blank">opened up</a> about her strong connection with her late aunt. "I thought I was gonna die," she said last year. "I wanted to be the artists I loved, like Mick Jagger and Andy Warhol -- and I thought the only way to do it was to live the lifestyle. But then I realized my father's sister Joanne, who'd died at 19, had instilled her spirit in me. She was a painter and a poet -- and I had a spiritual vision I had to finish her business." The <I>Times</I> noted that Gaga is not officially a part-owner of the restaurant, which Joseph said the family could have afforded to open even if his daughter had not risen to global fame. It has long been his dream to open the eatery, he said, and visitors at Joanne will dine on "Southern Italian," given that Smith is from the South and the Germanottas are Italian. That means they will chow down on dishes such as "Papa G's chicken," traditional offerings like osso buco inspired by Joanne and "Cynthia's salad," named for Gaga's mother. Hoping to temper fans' expectations, Joseph said he wasn't sure if he'd post current pics of Gaga among the family photos. Maybe, he said, just an old one in which she's not as recognizable. And though he's happy to have his eldest get the word out about the family business, if fans make the trek expecting to see a trophy case with VMAs and Grammys, "It's not going to happen," he warned.</p></p>

'Hunger Games' Stars Talk Most-Anticipated Sequel Scenes

Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson also reveal to MTV News who they would have liked to play if not Katniss and Peeta.

Another day, another juicy segment of our interview with the cast of "The Hunger Games" to roll out and examine. Tuesday's (February 7) installment has a slight caveat, however. For those who have yet to read Suzanne Collins' book "Catching Fire" — the follow-up to "The Hunger Games" — please take this as a friendly warning that the proceeding comments from stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson veer heavily into spoiler territory for the tentatively planned big-screen sequel.

When MTV News caught up with Lawrence and Hutcherson recently, we asked them what they hope to see in a sequel. Lawrence quickly brought up a very big step in the relationship between Katniss and Peeta.

"We get married!" the actress exclaimed, looking at Hutcherson and pointing to her ring finger with girlish enthusiasm.

"[It's] very exciting," Hutcherson said, though we detected a bit of hesitation in his voice.

Lawrence revealed that she did the "ring finger move" to Hutcherson whenever she wanted to annoy him on set. "God, I sound really annoying whenever I talk about myself in the past," she admitted. The Oscar nominee then apologized to Hutcherson, who seemed genuinely entertained by her commentary.

Looking even further ahead, past "Catching Fire," we asked about talk that the third book might be split into two films. "It's always hard, every time you convert a novel into movies, because you have to cut so much out," Lawrence said. "[So], in a weird way it's kind of a relief because you get to keep everything in there. It is a lot more work [to shoot four films] and we'll probably do them back-to-back."

Finally, we asked the two stars if they had to play another "Hunger Games" character besides their own which they would choose.

"I would probably say President Snow," Hutcherson said. "If I were President Snow, I could make some changes and give some power back to the people."

"Well, now I'm left with a goat," Jennifer joked of the dwindling character options. "Umm."

"Effie has great style," Hutcherson offered.

"Effie! That's it," Lawrence agreed about the pink-haired District 12 escort played by Elizabeth Banks. "God, yeah Effie. Thanks!"

Who would you have cast Jennifer and Josh as in "The Hunger Games," besides Katniss and Peeta? Tell us in the comments!

Check out everything we've got on "The Hunger Games."

<P>Lady Gaga's Born This Way Foundation will launch February 29 with a fete at Harvard University, the singer and her mother and co-founder, Cynthia Germanotta, announced in a statement on Thursday (January 19). BTWF was created to promote youth empowerment and equality by encouraging self-confidence and well-being and bringing bullying to an end. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:683376.id:1669247" width="240" height="211"></div><p> Joining the pop star at Sanders Theatre will be her partners in the endeavor: Harvard's Berkman Center for Internet and Society, the MacArthur Foundation and the California Endowment. Gaga has long been a staunch supporter of anti-bullying legislation, reportedly <a href="/news/articles/1672010/lady-gaga-obama-meeting.jhtml">meeting with President Obama</a> to discuss the topic in September and <a href="/news/articles/1675501/lady-gaga-white-house-bullying.jhtml">visiting the White House</a> in early December to discuss the issue with administration officials. She dedicated her performance of "Hair" at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas to <a href="/news/articles/1671190/lady-gaga-obama-call-teen-suicide.jhtml">Jamey Rodemeyer</a>, a 14-year-old fan who took his own life after years of anti-gay harassment. And last year, Gaga topped <a href="/news/articles/1676499/do-something-org-celebs-gone-good-justin-bieber-lady-gaga.jhtml">DoSomething.org's list</a> of the most charitable celebrities, in part for her work on behalf of gay rights causes. "My daughter's foundation was born out of her passion to create a better world where people are kinder and nicer to one another and are accepted for who they are, regardless of how different they may be," Germanotta said. "She has experienced many of the struggles that our youth encounter today, and identifies with the lasting effects they can have without proper support. Together, we look forward to creating a new movement that will engage and empower youth and accept them as valuable members of our society." </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:683377.id:1669247" width="240" height="211"></div><p> The Mother Monster's commitment to the gay community was again recognized Thursday (January 19) with a nomination for Outstanding Music Artist at the <a href="/news/articles/1677519/glaad-awards-lady-gaga-glee.jhtml">GLAAD Media Awards</a>.The awards recognize fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBT community across all media. In December, the diva was recognized with the Hero Award by the Trevor Project, a nonprofit organization that offers suicide-prevention services to LGBT youth. During her acceptance speech at <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2011/12/05/lady-gaga-pays-tribute-to-little-monster-jamey-at-trevor-project-live-in-la">Trevor Project Live</a>, Gaga touched on her wishes to someday make bullying a hate crime. "I hope that we can acknowledge all together that where this needs to begin is in the schools," Gaga said. "I want my fans and people all over the world to know that there's always somebody that's listening. But I want them to know they're listening before it gets too late."</p>
