Courteney Cox: David Arquette Hit on Me at Disney World

Courteney Cox: David Arquette Hit on Me at Disney World

Not every celebrity breakup is fraught with tension and bad press. Courteney Cox and David Arquette, who split up last October, have reunited for numerous family outings since, and have been making the press rounds together to promote their new film Scream 4, which opens April 15.

Both have been generous in their comments to the press about one another, and they looked like a happy family on a recent trip to Disney World with their 6-year-old daughter Coco. As Cox, 46, told David Letterman on CBS' The Late Show Wednesday night, things are going so well that Arquette, 39, even tried to put the moves on her during their Disney escape (see, it really is a magical place!). "He did try to hit on me, yeah. He hit pretty hard," Cox joked. "And I said, 'You know, you don't have the Fast Pass right now. Not to that ride!'"

At the Scream 4 premiere in New York, Arquette -- who is now 100 days sober -- told People: "We're really supportive and loving and kind to each other, so that's really what's important." The couple have been together for 11 years, and Arquette insists that working together on Scream 4 was a blast for both of them. "I loved acting opposite Courteney," he said. "We don't have that opportunity a lot, and it's a different way of working together. We have so much fun."

For those pulling for a Cox-Arquette reconciliation, there's still hope -- but the verdict might be out for a while. As Cox told Letterman: "I don't know what's going to happen. I really don't. I'm sure this decision needs to be made at some point, but we're getting along so well that I hate to rock the boat. I really do."

Getting frisky at Disney World may be a step in the right direction towards a happy ending, but Cox also joked about Arquette moving on to find "somebody named Tiffany or Britney," and expressed to Arquette a worry that these girls would not organize his drawers properly. The couple seems to be enjoying one another tremendously at the moment, so that's a start. Who says life doesn't offer second chances?
